The New Jersey Chapter of the American Institute of Architects has named Danielle Matuch the 2007 Intern Architect of the Year. Since starting at KSS in June 2005, Matuch has worked on more than 100 projects in various capacities and gained exposure to a broad range of projects and clients.

A graduate from Syracuse University's architecture program, Matuch stands out because of her desire to seek out non-conventional educational experiences. She has attended masonry camp in Maine, studied at La Scuola di Design e Fotografia in Florence, Italy, and has lectured on the profession of architecture as part of AIA's 150th anniversary celebration and at the University of Mary Washington in Virginia.

The AIA Service Awards were presented at a dinner at the Newark Club on Jan. 12, 2008.
